As a Senior Business Unit Director, Oncology and Cell Therapy, you will play a critical role in driving the commercial success of our oncology and cell therapy portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team of marketing and sales professionals, and to develop and implement strategic plans to maximize the commercial potential of our assets. You will be responsible for managing a cross-functional team, partnering with market access to identify and develop local reimbursement plans, and recruiting and hiring country-specific staff to execute the company plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize the commercial potential of our oncology and cell therapy assets
  • Lead a high-performing team of marketing and sales professionals
  • Manage a cross-functional team to drive operational excellence
  • Partner with market access to identify and develop local reimbursement plans
  • Recruit and hire country-specific staff to execute the company plan

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA and/or postgraduate preferred
  • Recognized leader with excellent communication skills
  • Recent experience in oncology, with specific experience in haematology and/or orphan/rare diseases an advantage
  • Commercial leadership experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to attract, motivate and retain talent
  • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and paradoxes
