Asbestos Consultant Opportunity

RSK Group, a leading international health, safety, and environmental consultancy, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our national asbestos team on a permanent, full-time basis. This home-based role requires occasional travel to Livingston and involves working with a successful and expanding team.

As an Asbestos Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking building surveys and bulk sampling, conducting asbestos monitoring and clearances, and preparing accurate reports in standard formats. You will also maintain and build on good relationships with clients, manage projects, and lead small teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake building surveys and bulk sampling to identify asbestos-containing materials
  • Conduct asbestos monitoring and clearances to ensure safe working environments
  • Prepare accurate reports of your work in standard formats, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Maintain and build on good relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded
  • Manage projects and lead small teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful outcomes
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a similar role within a UKAS-accredited organization
  • P403 and P404 and/or P402 OR S301 (W504) with CoCA qualifications
  • Competent and confident user of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to write accurate and concise technical reports
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Team worker, able to build rapport within an established team
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, as well as work weekends on occasions
  • Full driver's license
Benefits:
  • Full-time, permanent position with 37.5 hours per week, plus overtime when required
