SEN Tutor Role

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced SEN tutor to work with children with Special Education Needs in South London and surrounding areas. This is a flexible and rewarding role that offers a great work-life balance.

The SEN tutor will be responsible for providing face-to-face support to children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD at their homes or a local centre. The tutor will plan lessons and resources around the student's needs, apply skills to raise pupils' confidence, and manage children with challenging behaviour. The role may also involve outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student.

As a self-employed tutor, you will work with our dedicated team at Remedy Education, who will refer suitable work to you. This could be for in any of the year groups on a 1-2-1 basis after school or daytime for students who are currently being home-schooled.

Experience working with SEND students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS are both essential for this role.
