We are seeking a Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a lapse in Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration and be looking to return to the profession.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Nurse to re-enter the profession and work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Return to Practice Nurse, you will be part of a comprehensive training programme that includes mentorship and support. Upon successful completion, you will progress into a Band 5 position within our children's unit.
Key Responsibilities- Work according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients under supervision.
- Carry out specific clinical tasks and responsibilities as delegated by registered practitioners and work across the boundaries of care and organisations.
We offer a supportive and inclusive environment, with a strong focus on staff wellbeing. Our comprehensive training programme includes 450 hours of clinical practice and 8 days of academic work across a 9-week period. You will be paid as a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker during your training and placement.
Person Specification- Lapse NMC registration.
- Essential: Evidence of keeping up to date with changes in healthcare, specifically within the NHS.
- Desirable: Previous experience of taking charge of a clinical area, previous experience of teaching, and assessors' qualification or willingness to undertake in the future.
