We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Host/Hostess to join our esteemed team at The May Fair Hotel. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and lead a team of host/hostesses to provide outstanding service to guests
  • Assist with staff training and development to maintain high standards of service
  • Coordinate with the bar and front-of-house team to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Monitor and maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure a premium guest experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a high-end food-led operation, ideally as a host/hostess
  • Proficiency in IT applications such as OpenTable, Adecco, and Micros
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Passion for food and beverage, with a keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest trends
