Sports Performance Assessor

We are seeking an experienced Sports Performance Assessor to join our team at Pearson. As an assessor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating the performance of apprentices in the Sporting Excellence Professional (Football) program.

About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for football and assessing the performance of athletes. You will work closely with Pearson to ensure that assessments are conducted fairly and consistently, maintaining high standards of quality and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in football development, holding a UEFA B certificate and being approved or sanctioned by the relevant National Governing Body of sport.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct end-point assessments for apprentices
• Evaluate candidate performance in accordance with published criteria
• Follow Pearson's specifications, assessment materials, and quality assurance protocols
• Report risks and issues encountered during assessments

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in football development, holding a recognized sport-specific coaching qualification at Level 3 or higher, and possessing excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. This position requires a strong ability to assess free from bias, meet deadlines, and have personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson-required software.
