About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Scania. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on our range of heavy commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose and rectify faults on heavy commercial vehicles
- Work to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed to a high level of quality
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
- Understanding of health and safety requirements
Preferred Requirements
- LGV/HGV/PCV licence an advantage
- Bus and coach experience an advantage
- IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
