About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maternity Tobacco Dependency Advisor to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our public health team, you will play a vital role in providing smoking cessation support to women and families across our region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver intermediate smoking cessation support to pregnant women and new mothers, using a client-led approach and evidence-based interventions.
  • Work closely with local stop smoking services, midwives, and obstetricians to ensure seamless care and support for our patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups and organizations to promote smoke-free living and healthy lifestyles.
  • Conduct CO monitoring and data collection to inform our smoking cessation services and contribute to national reporting.
  • Collaborate with our Health Improvement team to develop and implement effective public health strategies and interventions.
