About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Gateway team, performing comprehensive triage functions in line with the Trusted Assessor Model. You will support the delivery of a high-quality link worker provision into primary care, secondary mental health services, social care partners, community-based resources, and voluntary sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide consultation and training to staff in various agencies on mental and emotional well-being of individuals experiencing severe/enduring mental health conditions.
- Support the Gateway/Team Operational Lead in delivering the service, ensuring it meets national guidance and local key performance indicators.
- Support the learning and development of new team members, students, newly qualified, and junior staff members when required.
- Ensure legal requirements and subsequent amendments underpinning Children and Adult care are adhered to.
- Provide best evidence practice to service users, complying with legislation, policies, and protocol, and relevant quality, governance, and local and national guidelines.
- Consider local demographics for service provision and improvement.
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Recent NHS experience.
- Registered with the HCPC.
