Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support a child with additional needs in a school in BS30.

We are looking for someone who is eager to build a career in working with children and is willing to learn and grow with our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the class teacher to provide support to the child on a 1:1 basis
  • Support the whole class setting on occasions
  • Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work
  • De-escalate situations within the classroom
  • Report any safeguarding concerns using the school's referral procedures and safeguarding policies
Requirements:
  • A calm and reassuring nature
  • A positive attitude and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for making a difference to the lives of children
