About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Matron to lead our Hospital at Home service. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for the operational management of the service, ensuring that patients receive safe and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of multi-disciplinary clinical staff, ensuring resources are used to maximise the benefit to all patients
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital admissions
  • Manage the budget for the service, ensuring effective use of resources
  • Lead daily multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case conferences, ensuring a holistic assessment of patients
  • Identify clinical priority areas and improve standards of care
  • Ensure that the service meets the requirements of patients, partners, and commissioners within a contestable business environment
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registered Nurse or AHP qualification
  • Registered with a clinical registration body
  • Significant experience of managing a large multi-disciplinary team of health and ideally social care staff
  • Senior level clinical knowledge in community unplanned/urgent care
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff
