Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in the Cotswolds, close to Chipping Norton. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and personal tax computations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102 or FRS 105
  • Corporation tax returns
  • Personal tax computations
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • CIS returns
  • Payroll reviews
  • Pre-year-end planning work to provide clients with projections and performance reviews, management of deadlines and workflows
  • Support and develop the Accounts Assistant
Requirements:
  • Qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA
  • At least 4 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment
  • Good general IT skills and extensive knowledge of Xero would be ideal
  • Technically competent with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

This is a friendly small firm of accountants able to assist businesses and individuals in all aspects of accounting and taxation, through building strong relationships and good communication with clients, offering a very unique level of service.
