Nuclear Safety and System Engineer

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with AtkinsRéalis, a leading player in low-carbon energy.

As a Nuclear Safety and System Engineer, you will play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients. Your expertise will help shape a better future for our planet and its people.

You will be responsible for producing hazards assessments and authoring complex safety cases, justifying critical decision-making in the design, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. You will also be keen to support technical delivery of projects and address complex problems.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to and learn from the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis. You will have the chance to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and develop your leadership skills by mentoring junior engineers.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between £36,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus additional pay in line with our performance philosophy and recognition culture. The company also provides a range of other benefits, including paid membership fees to a professional institution and number of other salary sacrifice benefits.
