About the Opportunity:

We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Examination and inspection of products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Supporting the Operator Certification Programme by providing training and guidance to manufacturing personnel.
  • Conducting product and process audits to support quality system approvals.
  • Providing training in QC techniques to other personnel as required.
  • Liaising with production teams, engineering and supply chain staff to identify and resolve quality issues.

Requirements:

  • A recognised engineering apprenticeship with relevant qualifications.
  • Craft/Technician certification (City & Guilds) or equivalent.
  • Quality Auditing qualification desirable.
  • Related engineering background with knowledge of metal cutting, assembly techniques, mechanical devices and inspection methods.
  • Good computer literacy and ability to produce clear reports.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialist measuring equipment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
