Job Title: Quality Technician

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. This role offers a challenging and rewarding career path, with opportunities for professional growth and development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and examine quality control elements, including first article inspections, first-off or final inspection, and product testing.
  • Support the Operator Certification Programme by providing training and guidance to manufacturing personnel.
  • Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality system approvals.
  • Train personnel in QC techniques as required.
  • Liaise with design and manufacturing engineering, supply chain, purchasing, and production personnel to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in CI project teams to analyse quality problems and suggest process improvements.

Requirements
  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Possession of City & Guilds Craft/Technician qualification is desirable.
  • Quality Auditing qualification would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of inspection techniques, Quality System requirements, and related engineering disciplines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and report writing.
  • Familiarity with Co-ordinate Measuring Machines and other specialist measuring equipment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: £29,250 - £31,200.
  • Enhanced holiday entitlement of 33 days per year.

  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8am - 4pm.
