Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and reviewing policy wordings to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring policy forms and clauses comply with internal requirements and guidelines
  • Keeping abreast of market issues and developments to support the business units within AEGIS London
  • Development and branding of new policy wordings and clauses
  • Delivering advice and guidelines to brokers/clients/AEGIS colleagues with regard to policy wordings
  • Resolving contract-related queries from brokers/clients/AEGIS colleagues
  • Developing, managing, and maintaining the AEGIS wordings and clause library
  • Providing support and guidance where required to AEGIS overseas offices
  • Participating in post-placement reviews as required
  • Conducting regular contract certainty checks across all classes to ensure compliance with market standards
  • Completing PBQA checks across all classes
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:
  • Demonstrable experience working within the Lloyds market (syndicate/broker)
  • Thorough understanding of the workings of policy wordings
  • Ability to draft policy wordings and clauses
  • Ability to build relationships internally and with brokers/clients
  • Excellent analytical/interpretive skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both writing and verbal
  • The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Ability to organise and prioritise conflicting demands
  • Excellent attention to detail
