Maintenance Supervisor

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Estates team as a Maintenance Supervisor. This is a permanent full-time position, working 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 15:30pm finish on Friday.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the provision of a comprehensive maintenance, repair, and minor works service within our sites, contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care. The role is multidisciplinary, requiring technical support to the Estates Department, contractors, and other employed persons in the completion of Estates planned and reactive maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a planned maintenance, repair, and installations service that represents quality and value for money at all times.
- Provide a safe maintenance service to all plant and equipment and service infrastructure within the healthcare environment.
- Perform Authorised Person (AP) duties as a highly specialised service management and system control for various disciplines in accordance with statutory documents and Scottish Health Technical Memoranda (SHTM) guidance.
- Manage Human Resource issues through NHS Scotland PIN Guidelines and NHS Greater Glasgow Human Resource policies.
- Responsible for the performance of work, including activities that are complex and/or non-routine, while ensuring compliance with Statutory and GG&C Health & Safety standards and procedures.
