Data Scientist, Machine Learning Specialist

As an experienced Data Scientist, you'll be joining our Data Analytics and AI department at a pivotal stage of the green and digital transition. With strong organisational backing, you'll be aligned with our values to continue driving our work forward.
The role involves:
- Data Analysis and Modelling: Apply machine learning, clustering, and forecasting techniques to uncover insights from large datasets.
- Data Exploration and Visualization: Explore and preprocess raw data to uncover trends, anomalies, and patterns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and formulate data-driven solutions.
- Model Deployment: Implement and deploy machine learning models into production environments, monitoring and optimising performance over time.
You'll need:
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and machine learning.
- Bachelors or masters degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data analysis and modelling.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, plotly, matplotlib).
- Experience with big data and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Our estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on your qualifications and experience.
