Support Manager - Education and Training

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Support Manager in Education and Training. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a Support Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the behavior of students with Social, Emotional, Communication, and Interaction Difficulties. You will work closely with the Team Leader to implement ongoing behavioral interventions, ensuring positive outcomes for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain effective behavior support plans to ensure students receive the appropriate support to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to deliver a holistic approach to student development and well-being.
  3. Uphold safeguarding practices to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

What we're looking for:

  1. Experience in a leadership or support management role within an educational or care setting, ideally working with students with SEMH and ASD.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  3. A proactive, resilient, and flexible approach to managing challenging behaviors and situations.
