About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the UK. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out fault finding diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, with a focus on achieving zero downtime.
  • Attend and carry out planned and unplanned maintenance of high-speed production machinery, including servo-controlled systems, filling machines, and packaging equipment.
  • Ensure the smooth running of factory machinery and respond promptly to breakdowns.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the factory, machinery, and their use, with a focus on quality and food safety.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement techniques and practices to ensure a quality environment in production.
Requirements
  • Time served engineering experience, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and improve processes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A commitment to customer service and a focus on achieving better outcomes.
