As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the site manufacturing operation, delivering optimum plant reliability and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance using Electrical, Control System, and Mechanical Engineering skill sets.
  • Supporting site reliability by identifying failure modes and trends, completing root cause analysis, and driving agreed actions.
  • Proactive fault prevention and continuous improvement activities to deliver key maintenance KPIs.
  • Supporting and coaching Manufacturing Technicians to develop their technical skills.
  • Providing support to and involvement in site Project and Change Initiatives as appropriate.
  • Contractor control, including issuing permits to work and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
Requirements
  • Inducted time-served apprentice with an Electrical bias, holding a minimum of 18th edition certification.
  • City & Guilds 2391 holder.
  • Understanding of SCADA control systems, computer systems, and networking.
  • PLC experience required, with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens an advantage.
  • Ideal candidate will be a multi-disciplined engineer with FMCG experience.
  • Lean experience and control skills are ideal but not essential.
  • Experience of leading and coaching a team.
  • Excellent influencing, presentation, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong team player with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Computer literate.
