Our client, a leading company in the geotechnical engineering design sector, is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Systems Engineer to join their team. As a vital customer-facing role, the successful candidate will be an ambassador for the company, working in the office and in customer laboratories internationally.

The role demands a high standard of personal presentation and excellent communication skills, as well as a good understanding of the company's equipment and its operation. The appointee will be responsible for system assembly and QA testing, in-house testing and calibration, and preparation and maintenance of product manuals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining product manuals.
  • Assembling and testing systems for customer orders.
  • Conducting in-house testing and calibration of products and systems.
  • Preparing, maintaining, and implementing internal technical procedures.
  • Debugging and problem-solving issues with customer systems and products.
  • Recording and updating documentation associated with QA and customer orders.
  • Supporting non-technical staff.
  • Installing company equipment and providing training at customers' premises.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum graduate-level Civil/Geotechnical Engineer or similar qualification, with some experience in geotechnical lab testing. Excellent presentation and communication skills in English are essential, as well as the ability to quickly learn in-house developed software packages.
