Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support

About the Role:

Horizon Teachers is working with a Primary school based in Merton to find a Teaching Assistant to join their team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children throughout the entire school, including pupils with SEN. You will work closely with an experienced team to provide personalised care and education to a range of children, enabling them to thrive and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the supporting children throughout the entire school, including pupils with SEN
- Work closely with an experienced team to provide personalised care and education to a range of children
- Assist with lunchtime supervision, behaviour management support, and classroom admin duties

Requirements:

- Experience working with children in EYFS or Primary settings
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs or a good understanding of SEND within schools
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Confident and able to use your initiative
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs
- Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures
