We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer and Assessor to join our End of Life Services team at Southern Co-op. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment sessions to our colleagues across the south of England.
Key Responsibilities- Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging virtual and classroom-based training sessions to ensure all colleagues have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional end-of-life care.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular colleague assessments to identify skill gaps and ensure a consistent high standard of service delivery.
- Training Support: Provide short-notice training support to address identified skill gaps and ensure our colleagues have the necessary skills to deliver our services.
- Course Development: Collaborate with our Academy design team to enhance and develop training courses that meet the needs of our colleagues and the business.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure all training and assessment activities are conducted in line with industry compliance, company policies, statutory legislation, and internal KPIs.
- Operational Support: Spend a minimum of 10% of your time working within the End of Life Services operation to consolidate your skills and knowledge.
- IT Literacy: Proficient user of Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Empathy and Compassion: High level of understanding, empathy, and compassion when working with colleagues and customers.
- Driving License: Full, valid UK driving license and access to a car.
- Competitive Salary: £25,515 per annum.
- Annual Leave: 31 days (including bank holidays), increasing to a maximum of 36 days after 10 years' service.
