Electrical Trainer Assessor Job Opportunity

Our client, a renowned provider of training and apprenticeships in the electrical engineering sector, is seeking an Electrical Trainer Assessor to join their established team in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality training sessions in electrical engineering to small groups of learners, focusing on practical, hands-on knowledge.
  2. Conduct on-site training four days a week, with one day allocated to administrative tasks, either from home or office.
  3. Assess and provide feedback on learner progress and competence, guiding apprentices through their qualifications.
  4. Collaborate with the existing electrical team to develop and improve course materials, ensuring all educational standards are met.
  5. Engage with learners to support their educational and professional development, participating in internal meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of training programmes.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations as part of a robust interview process.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on practical, hands-on knowledge.
  2. Relevant qualifications, including C&G 5357 level 3 Electrical.
  3. A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers.
  4. Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions.
  5. Proficiency in carrying out assessments and providing constructive feedback.
  6. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  7. Comfortable with on-site working.
  8. Ability to work well within a team, contributing to a supportive learning environment.
