Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Join a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks as a Field Service Engineer. This role offers comprehensive on-the-job training, an extensive benefits package, and progression routes.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have mechanical service and repair skills, engine diagnostic, and some basic electrical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  • Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  • Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  • Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:
  • Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  • Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  • Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
