About the Role
Suffolk County Council is seeking highly organized and detail-focused individuals to support the efficient conduct of public examinations at Stradbroke High School.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Exams Officer in ensuring the smooth operation of public examinations
- Monitor and supervise students during examinations, maintaining a secure and distraction-free environment
- Ensure adherence to Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to facilitate a seamless examination process
Requirements
- Flexibility to work at mutually agreed times, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 3 days during the exam season
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of organizational and time management skills
Working Arrangements
Exam Invigilators will work on a flexible basis, with no guarantee of regular work or a minimum number of hours per year. Successful applicants should be available to work at various times during the year, including main exams in May and June, and mocks in February, April, and November.
