Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to identify and address non-conformances, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental KPIs to drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of quality excellence.
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure that team members are engaged, focused, and developed to their full potential.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to introduce new raw materials, packaging materials, and products, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with quality standards.
  • Deliver customer complaint information and other monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4 qualifications.
  • Degree in food science or a relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience in leadership and team management, with a comprehensive understanding of High Care operations.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of food law, legislation, and regulations for the UK.
  • Computer literate and good data management skills.
  • Results-focused and able to influence others.
  • Confident communicator across all levels.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet the demands of a 24/7 business.
  • Flexible to work hours as required.
