Lead Educator for Vulnerable Children

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to contribute to the development of teaching and learning within our residential homes. As a Lead Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering face-to-face tuition to small groups and on a 1-1 basis, supporting vulnerable young children aged 7-18 years with SEMH and complex needs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a committed classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for inspiring and challenging pupils. You will be responsible for planning, evaluating and monitoring learning and progress, as well as differentiating all aspects of learning to promote inclusion and attainment.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of national curriculum, particularly surrounding mathematics and science, and some experience of vocational educational pathways. A positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations is essential, as is drive, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour.

Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality education to vulnerable young children with SEMH and complex needs.
- To plan, evaluate and monitor learning and progress, and differentiate all aspects of learning to promote inclusion and attainment.
- To build good relationships with young people and other members of the support team.
- To maintain accurate records and reports of pupil progress.
- A proven track record of working with specialist education for young people with SEMH.
- A sound knowledge of national curriculum, particularly surrounding mathematics and science.
- Some experience of vocational educational pathways.
- Committed, conscientious and passionate about inclusion.
Salary: £22,887 - £32,648 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
