Marketing Propositions Specialist

RAC is seeking a skilled Marketing Propositions Specialist to drive key commercial retention initiatives and support the delivery of the overall RAC breakdown retention strategy.

As a key member of the Membership and Retention team, you will provide end-to-end communications to our 2.2 million RAC members, leveraging member insight and channel information to identify opportunities to improve existing customer journeys, programmes, and propositions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating actionable improvements in churn and member value across all leavers
  • Producing comms briefs and documenting customer journeys to support the development of new propositions and communications for existing customers
  • Working closely with channel management to ensure key customer touchpoints meet and exceed customer expectations and deliver on commercial targets
  • Supporting initiatives such as member reward schemes and prize draws to drive customer satisfaction
  • Gaining customer insights to help shape the overall retention strategy through call listening, market research, and competitor research
  • Reviewing campaign performance with the Insight team to identify improvements and optimize ongoing performance
  • Reporting on and sharing data insights for key KPIs such as online renewal rates and reward redemptions
  • Developing business cases and ROI metrics to support all activity
  • Managing compliance-led activity to ensure the best possible outcomes for members

Requirements include:

  • Experience in consumer marketing, ideally within the financial services or retail sector
  • Creative and analytical mindset, with a track record of delivering results and tenacity to make things happen
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to build trust with stakeholders and peers
  • Experience of cross-functional working
