About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Repairs Commercial Officer to join our team at Notting Hill Genesis. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that repairs and maintenance services are delivered efficiently and effectively, while maintaining value for money for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Control and Management: Oversee the efficient and high-quality delivery of repairs and maintenance services, ensuring that costs are accurately measured and controlled.
  • Contractor Management: Work closely with our supply chain to ensure that contractor applications are processed within 48 hours, and that cost claims are validated and addressed as necessary.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports to ensure that our commercial performance is accurately reflected.
  • Material Cost Management: Manage material costs to ensure that we are achieving the best value for money for our customers.
  • Participation in Financial Audits: Participate in financial audits to ensure that our commercial processes are compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Work in Progress/Debt Management: Manage work in progress and debt management accruals and remediation to ensure that our commercial performance is optimized.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in working with Nat Fed Schedule of Rates codes, and in repairs and maintenance environments.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: Hold a quantity surveying degree or similar, or relevant experience.
