Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the management of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation

• Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources

• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and quality control

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years' experience in a senior kitchen role

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Food Safety Level 2 certification and a strong understanding of health and safety protocols
