Adult Mental Health Specialist

North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust seeks an exceptional Adult Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Liverpool. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading and developing excellent practice in the field of adult mental health.
Main Duties- Lead and manage the Community Mental Health Team, ensuring high-quality assessment and treatment for adults with psychosis and other severe mental illnesses.
- Foster relationships between staff within each organisation, and with local Clinical Commissioning Groups, promoting effective team working and collaboration.
- Act as team responsible clinician for the purposes of the Mental Health Act 1983, carrying out duties in accordance with the code of practice.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in specialty, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty. They must be able to make decisions based on evidence and experience, including the contribution of others.
In return, we offer a salary range of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, plus a 10% recruitment and retention premia. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and welcome applications from under-represented groups.
