We are Advanced Adult Care Assessments, a growing and evolving organisation dedicated to providing expert care and support to adults and children across the UK. We are currently seeking a Forensic Mental Health Expert to join our team of Consultant Psychiatrists.

Job Overview:

This is a freelance opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide expert services to local authorities, solicitors, and the courts. As a Forensic Mental Health Expert, you will be responsible for carrying out mental health assessments, conducting risk assessments, and producing high-quality reports.

The estimated salary for this role is £70-£80 per hour, depending on the type of assessment and location. You will also receive weekly paid invoices and high-quality support from our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out mental health assessments for DoLS assessments, ensuring compliance with the MCA and relevant codes of practice.
  • Conduct forensic risk assessments for adults and children, identifying specific risks and potential outcomes.
  • Produce high-quality, legible reports that stand up to scrutiny.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a full enhanced DBS and be registered with the update service. You will also need to have a UK driving license and be highly computer literate.
