Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of a sustainable procurement service for the University.

The post holder will work closely with the Procurement Partner to gain a good understanding of processes and systems, after which they will work with their own portfolio and support the team in delivering value for money through best procurement practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include English Language and Mathematics OR NVQ Level 2 in Business, Procurement (Supply Chain), or related subjects. Additionally, experience and knowledge of a wide range of IT systems, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential.

You will also have evidence of the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and be willing to travel as required by the needs of the post.
