Job Summary

ICTS Europe is seeking a reliable and technology-savvy Data Centre Security Officer to ensure the security and safety of premises and people at our Data Centre sites in the Hayes and Uxbridge area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control Management: Manage access control for buildings and car-parks, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors have access.
  • Site Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential security threats.
  • ID Verification: Verify and challenge ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Alarm Response: Respond to and de-activate alarms, and unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates as necessary.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV.
  • Health and Safety: Identify and report Health & Safety issues, and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer requests and queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents and events using computer- and paper-based systems.

Requirements

  • SIA Licenses: Hold a valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Pressure Management: Remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Have experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
  • Background Check: Pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards.

Desirable Qualifications

  • SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) License: Hold a valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) license.
  • First Aid Qualification: Possess a valid first aid qualification.
  • Similar Experience: Have experience in a similar role.
