Torgersens Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Senior to join our team based in Gosforth.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in accounting, who can provide high-quality services to our clients. The successful candidate will have excellent technical knowledge, be up-to-date with current legislation, and possess good training and mentoring skills.

The role involves preparing accounts for various client types, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders. You will be primarily based in our Gosforth office, working closely with other team members to ensure excellent service levels to our clients.

About You:

  • You should be ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified or finalist, or have equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working in an accounting practice would be ideal.
  • Strong technical knowledge and up-to-date awareness of current legislation are essential.
  • Good training and mentoring skills are necessary to support more junior members of staff.
  • Experience in preparing year-end accounts for owner-managed small to medium businesses is required.
  • You must be able to work under tight deadlines and budgets.
  • A driving license and own car would be advantageous.

About the Company:

  • Torgersens Limited offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
