Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Droitwich Spa, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering electrical power work scope for individual projects within a programme, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects that meet technical specifications and client expectations.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess substantial work experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a project-oriented environment such as construction, industrial, or renewable energy. They will have advanced proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Microsoft Office and Project, AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP) and strong understanding of electrical theory and systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Developing comprehensive electrical designs, including wiring layouts, panel schematics, single-line diagrams, and power distribution plans.
- Conducting engineering calculations for load requirements, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, and power factor correction to ensure safe and efficient systems.
- Utilizing industry-standard software to create accurate and detailed technical drawings and ensuring design consistency with project goals.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, HND Level 4 minimum requirement. They should also have relevant certifications such as PMP certification, APMG or Prince 2 qualification, 18th Edition qualification. Full driving licence is required. Possible travel to customer sites within the EMEA region may be necessary.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
