Job Summary

As a Field Service Engineer with Finning International, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our customers' Caterpillar equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and repair complex issues on-site, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer service requests, assessing the nature of the problem and providing detailed information to the customer and Finning
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues, utilizing industry-leading diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop effective solutions
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3
  • Experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment and LDV driving license
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of field-based diagnosis tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
