About the Position

We are seeking a skilled ESOL Educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering English language classes to Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).

The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification in ESOL or a related field, with experience working with vulnerable populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

  • Create engaging lesson plans and conduct assessments to support student progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and monitor their progress.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A teaching qualification in ESOL or a related field.
  • Experience working with UASC or similar vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching ESOL to diverse groups, particularly UASC.
  • An understanding of ESOL teaching methodologies.
  • Ability to create interactive lesson plans.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Additional teaching certifications.
  • Experience working with trauma-affected individuals.
