Job Title: Operations Director

Overview

The Operations Director is a key leadership role responsible for driving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. This strategic position oversees the division's operational activities, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives and optimal resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Divisional Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement the division's strategy, monitoring performance and reporting on progress to stakeholders.
  2. Operational Excellence: Embed and maintain Consumer Duty, business integration, operational change, process improvement, and claims handling, ensuring effective governance and controls.
  3. IT Strategy: Work closely with the IT Director to deliver an effective IT strategy, including contact centre telephony, IT system oversight, and operational resilience.
  4. Leadership and Engagement: Coordinate and engage Area Operation Leads, fostering an inclusive, engaged, and motivated team culture to achieve optimum performance.
  5. Risk and Governance: Ensure the effective application of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, identifying, managing, and mitigating risks arising from the operation of the division.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in general insurance, commercial insurance, and/or personal insurance lines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent client focus, people development, and management skills, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
