Deputy Manager and Baby Room Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team at The Foundation Stage Forum Ltd. As a Deputy Manager and Baby Room Leader, you will play a key role in the management and leadership of our six-place baby room, Little Stars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job share the role of Deputy Manager, working closely with the Management Team to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the nursery meets the needs of children, staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery's strategic plan, working closely with the Management Team.
  • Ensure the nursery maintains a good rating with OFSTED, building on our 16-year history of excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role in early years education, with a strong track record of staff retention and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, parents, and children.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
