Business Development Director Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Director to spearhead our new business team in London. Your mission will be to shape and execute our new business strategy, focusing on our London operations and supporting our growth objectives.

About the Role:
As the Business Development Director, you will lead our new business team, crafting and executing a global strategy to drive our ambitious growth. You will identify new opportunities, manage our business pipeline, and promote our unique proposition of 'Crafting Stories, Shaping Spaces, Creating Fans.' Reporting to our UK Managing Director and International Group lead, you will coordinate pitches with international support and ensure our market presence is continuously enhanced. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for brand experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Agency Understanding: Develop and lead strategic approaches to engage global C-suite prospects, tailor our positioning, and promote our capabilities.
  2. Strategy Development: Identify target sectors and brands, craft and execute new business strategies, and review tactics regularly.
  3. Prospect Management: Manage our prospect database through Salesforce, drive initiatives, and monitor key prospects.
  4. Market Knowledge: Stay updated on market trends and attend networking events.
  5. Pitch Management: Oversee the entire pitch process, match prospects with appropriate agency teams, and conduct post-pitch analyses.
  6. Collateral Management: Ensure up-to-date marketing materials support our global strategy.
  7. Tender Process: Coordinate tender submissions and maintain a comprehensive library of information.
  8. Financial Responsibility: Manage our new business budget, establish ROI, and drive new business financial performance.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Seek improvements in our market representation and share insights across the business.
  10. Adapt to Change: Embrace innovation and adapt processes to meet our evolving needs.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, strategic planning, leadership, and communication. They will also have experience in managing prospect databases, engaging prospects, and coordinating pitches.

A competitive salary of up to £120k is on offer for this exciting opportunity.
