Job Title: IT Risk Assurance and Remediation Analyst

Location: Financial Services Sector

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Up to £440 Per Day

Vertex IT Solutions Ltd is partnering with a Global Financial Services customer to fill this role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Risk control and Risk management environments, with a strong track record of implementing or monitoring 1st Line of Defence control frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide testing and assurance on existing IT risk controls in line with regulations and internal requirements across all IT Teams, including connection to the overall IT Function and with an oversight to the IT regional governance teams.

• Report and action on weaknesses relating to controls and suggest improvements while identifying the impact on the business.

• Assist to develop appropriate KPI / KRI information against the IT control environment for promote effective monitoring.

• Partner the business to develop new and enhance existing tools and reporting to demonstrate controls oversight within the 1st Line of Defence.

• Ensure alignment to internal audit methodology, approach and planning requirements towards an effective control framework.

Experience:

• Multi-year experience in a Risk control, Risk management environment.

• Thorough understanding of IT Risk control mechanisms.

• Track record of implementing or monitoring 1st Line of Defence control frameworks in fast-paced financial technology teams.
