Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at Ganymede Solutions. As a leading recruitment agency specializing in Rail, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, Transportation, and general Engineering, we are looking for a professional with a strong background in environmental management to support our clients in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and consultancy-level support on environmental management to clients across various sectors, including Rail, Defence, Highways, Civil Engineering, and Build.
  • Conduct investigations and assessments on environmental impact, including noise, ecological, pollution, and sustainability.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure compliance with Network Rail standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans for clients, including tendering for new projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate environmental risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant environmental field, such as Environmental Science, Ecology, or Sustainability.
  • Chartered membership of IEMA or CENV.
  • Proven experience in environmental management, preferably in Tier 1 or consultancy roles, with a focus on Rail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental management principles, including ecology, noise, vibration, pollution, and sustainability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and project management skills.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum.
