Job Title: Environmental Compliance Specialist

Amtivo Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our enforcement team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant waste legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with waste legislation and regulations.
  • Inspect and audit waste facilities, producers of waste, and waste collection permit holders.
  • Collect and manage data related to illegal waste activities and gather intelligence to inform enforcement actions.
  • Prepare written reports on non-compliances and suspected breaches of legislation.
  • Liaise with other enforcement bodies, including Local Authorities and An Garda Síochána.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Environmental Sciences or similar, or minimum of 5 years investigative experience.
  • Full clean driver's licence (min category B).
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
