We are seeking a skilled Laundry Assistant to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment for residents and staff at Derbyshire County Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive laundry service, including washing, drying, and ironing items as instructed, as well as disinfecting soiled items and meeting clients' personal laundry needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating a variety of laundry machines and equipment
  • Providing a high-quality laundry service to meet the needs of residents and staff
  • Disinfecting and sanitizing laundry items to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a laundry or related role, although full training will be provided. The successful applicant will be required to work four shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
