Job Overview

We are looking for a Graduate SEN Support Specialist to join our team at EdEx, a leading education recruitment agency. As a Graduate SEN Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in a school setting.

This is a long-term full-time role, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. The salary is £105-£110 per day, paid weekly. You will have the scope to go onto a permanent contract from September 2025, if desired.

About the Role
  1. You will be working alongside world-class CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO), and Specialist on-site teachers, all of whom have multiple years of industry experience.
  2. Your key responsibilities will include supervising and supporting identified children with SEN or additional needs in 1:1, group, or whole class situations, ensuring their safety and access to learning in a purposeful and supportive learning environment.
  3. You will also assist in supporting identified children's progress and providing feedback on their achievements, progress, and needs.
  4. In addition, you may be required to attend to children's personal needs where necessary.
  5. Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals is another important aspect of this role.
