We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client, a well-established and respected company in Loughborough, on a full-time, permanent basis.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret technical tender drawings to extract and price materials.
  • Proactively interact with the team to produce competitive bids.
  • Establish supply chain costs and generate quotation documents.
  • Liaise with customers to identify and secure business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and complete tenders to sales.
  • Build and maintain a consistent system of market prices.
  • Provide exceptional service to all enquiries and follow up with client feedback.

Essential Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of structural, secondary, and architectural steel work.
  • Experience in a similar Estimating role within the industry.
  • Ability to read technical and architectural drawings.
  • Understanding of building law and regulations, contract law, and health & safety law.
  • High attention to detail and excellent financial and numerical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills and strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • Familiarity with TEKLA Structures Software.
