Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Stafforce Careers. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in receiving new enquiries, estimating, and converting orders into manufacturing packages for fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract and price materials from technical tender drawings.
  • Proactively interact with the team to produce competitive bids.
  • Use practical knowledge to estimate times, costs, and site operations for comprehensive take-off and tender submission.
  • Establish supply chain costs and generate quotation documents.
  • Liaise with customers to identify and secure business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and complete tenders to sales.
  • Build a consistent system of market prices.
  • Provide a timely response and exceptional service to all enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Experience in estimating and tendering.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and supply chain costs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
